Stierna Stella Short Winter Coat is a technical, warm and elegant riding coat developed for riders who place high demands on comfort, freedom of movement and weather protection. The shorter model combines a waterproof and windproof EquTex™ stretch material with 20,000 mm water column and a light, warming 3M™ Thinsulate™ ECO padding. With taped seams, high breathability and reflective details, Stella is a perfect choice for cold winter days in the saddle and the stable.

EquTex™ – advanced protection against weather & wind

Stella is made of Stierna's technical EquTex™ material, a 2-layer stretch fabric in recycled polyester with a waterproof and windproof membrane that also has very good breathability.

With a water column of 20,000 mm and breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24 h the coat provides effective protection against rain, snow and wind while moisture and excess heat can be transported away.

All seams are taped to prevent water from penetrating through the seams.

The outer fabric is also treated with BIONIC-FINISH®, a fluorocarbon-free water-repellent DWR treatment.

3M™ Thinsulate™ ECO – light & warming

The winter coat is insulated with 80/100 grams 3M™ Thinsulate™ ECO Classic, a lightweight padding made of recycled polyester.

The padding provides effective thermal insulation without making the coat unnecessarily heavy or bulky. The down-free construction makes the model especially suitable for active winter days when you need to stay warm and still move freely.

Adapted for riding

Stella is specially developed with the rider's movements in focus.

The pre-shaped sleeves follow the arms' natural position and provide good freedom of movement when you hold the reins.

At the back there are two slits with YKK zippers that can be opened to give more space when you sit in the saddle. The asymmetrically shaped hem is also adapted for riding and contributes to a comfortable fit.

The continuous 2-way zipper from YKK makes it easy to open the coat from below for additional freedom of movement.

360° visibility with 3M™ Scotchlite™

Stella is equipped with 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflectors, reflective piping and logo print that help make the rider more visible from different angles when the material is hit by light.

A valued safety feature during dark winter mornings, evenings and outdoor rides.

Adjustable hood & thoughtful details

The high collar has a chin guard for extra comfort and protection against cold wind.

The hood is detachable and adjustable both at the front and at the neck to be adapted to weather and needs. It is attached with press studs for safety.

The sleeve ends are asymmetrically shaped and can be adjusted with Velcro. Soft inner cuffs in Lycra help keep cold and wind out.

Practical pockets

The coat has two hand pockets with YKK zippers for safe storage of smaller belongings.

On the inside there is also a practical pocket with zipper and opening for headphones.
