Protection against flies & UV radiation

Amigo® Bug Rug Plus is developed to provide the horse with comprehensive protection during the summer. The tightly woven mesh creates a physical barrier against flies and other bothersome insects, while the airy construction ensures good ventilation.

The material also offers 65% UV protection, helping to reduce the horse's exposure to the sun's UV rays.

Removable neck cover included

The included neck cover provides extra coverage over the neck and can easily be removed when not needed. Together with the rest of the sheet's design, it offers generous protection from head to tail.

Extra long tail flap

The extra long tail flap provides extended coverage over the horse's hindquarters and tail. On the inside, there is a silky lining that helps reduce friction against the tail hairs.

Softer against the coat

In exposed areas such as the mane, shoulder, and tail flap, the sheet has a soft, shine-enhancing lining. This increases comfort and helps reduce friction against the coat during prolonged use.

Freedom of movement & fit

Horseware's Front Leg Arches provide extra space around the forelegs and are designed to allow the horse to move more freely.

The sheet stays securely in place with a straight double front closure, two adjustable cross surcingles, and a tail cord. At the back, there are also loops for those who wish to add leg straps.
