Function

The activation ball is a central part of the airbag vest's release mechanism. When the rider is separated from the horse in a fall, the activation strap is loaded. When the required activation force is reached, the ball is released from the mechanism and the airbag system is triggered.

The receiver part is used together with the ball to create the correct connection to the activation system.

As a spare part

The activation ball with receiver part is a practical accessory to have available if the original part needs to be replaced. After an activation, the entire airbag system should be checked and reset according to the manufacturer's instructions before the vest is used again.
