Waldhausen Arctic Turnout Rug Light is a lightweight and durable rain rug that protects the horse against rain, wind, and changing weather without extra filling. It is especially suitable during milder periods, rainy days, and as an outer protection when the horse does not need a lined rug.

The outer material in 600D ripstop polyester provides a tough barrier against weather and wear, while the rug is both waterproof and breathable. A water column of 3,000 mm helps keep the horse dry, while the antibacterial lining contributes to a fresh and comfortable feel.

The double T-front closure with protective Velcro ensures a secure fit, while shoulder gussets provide better freedom of movement. Cross surcingles help keep the rug stable even when the horse moves a lot. Reflective details along the binding and tail strap improve visibility in low light.

The Arctic Turnout Rug Light is also compatible with Waldhausen's Clip-In Rug System, making it possible to attach an under rug when more warmth is needed. There are also attachment loops for a neck piece.

An extra thoughtful detail is the integrated Stay-Clean Inlay. It is used only during fitting and prevents direct contact between the horse's back and the rug, so the rug stays clean and free from hair if the size needs to be changed. The inlay is easily removed after fitting.
