The model is made from the same heavy fleece material that Kentucky Horsewear uses in its popular Fleece Rug Heavy, providing a soft, wool-like feel without being a traditional wool rug.

Warmth & Function

During warm-up, the heavy fleece helps keep the horse's larger muscle groups over the back and hindquarters warm. After work, the material helps sweat evaporate so the horse dries faster during cool-down. This makes the riding rug useful before, during, and after a calm riding session when the temperature is low.

Material & Comfort

The heavy fleece material has a full, soft appearance and a feel reminiscent of wool. The rug is designed to lie over the horse's hindquarters without covering the rider's leg position and combines warmth with a classic shape adapted for use with a saddle.

Design & Fastenings

The riding rug is fastened with a strong hook-and-loop strap in front of the saddle and has a tail strap that helps keep it securely in place. The navy blue design is finished with a Kentucky Horsewear logo in brown artificial leather, a discreet detail that gives the model the brand's characteristic look.

Size & Care

This product is available in Shopify in sizes M and L.
