1. GENERAL

We reserve the right to change our terms of purchase and prices without prior notice.
The prices and terms stated at the time of ordering apply to the purchase unless technical issues have occurred. We do not change placed orders; if an order needs to be adjusted, we ask you as a customer to place a new order and then contact us to remove the previously placed order.

The minimum age to shop in our e-commerce is 18 years.

2. PRODUCT INFORMATION AND IMAGE REPRESENTATION

Our goal is always to present our products as realistically as possible. However, please note that all product images should be seen as illustrations and we cannot guarantee that they exactly reflect the product's actual appearance, function, or origin. Color reproduction may vary depending on your screen, mobile device, or your display settings.

The size guides and measurements provided on the website are approximate and may have a small margin of error; they are intended only as a guide to help you find the right size for you or your horse.

INCORRECT INFORMATION
We reserve the right for any typographical errors, price errors, or incorrect information on the website. If a product has been presented with an obvious incorrect price or incorrect information, and you realized or reasonably should have realized this, the price/information will not apply to the purchase. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible to correct the order.

3. PRICES & DISCOUNTS

Each item is listed with a price including VAT (25%) in SEK. In the shopping cart, you can see the total price including any fees such as VAT, shipping, and payment.

During campaigns and with active discount codes, these cannot be combined at purchase.

If payment is made with combined discounts, your order will be adjusted before delivery and the most favorable discount will remain on your order.

4. INTERNATIONAL TRADE 

We are pleased to now offer delivery to customers outside Sweden!
For international orders, payment is made in EURO (€), except for Denmark where payment is made in DKK.

Shipping cost and delivery time vary depending on the country and are clearly shown at checkout. Please note that the customer is responsible for the return shipping for international shipments.

5. PAYMENT IN SWEDEN

At Svensk Ridsport AB, we offer simple and secure payment solutions in cooperation with Avarda. You can choose from the following options to complete your purchase:

Swish: We offer smooth payment via Swish in cooperation with Avarda. For those connected to Swish, the amount is deducted directly from your bank account. You easily complete the purchase by opening the Swish app on your mobile device and approving the transaction with mobile BankID.

Card payment: We accept payment by card via Avarda's secure payment gateway. Security is our highest priority; all information is encrypted to ensure your card details are handled securely and that no unauthorized person can access them.

Svensk Ridsport does not charge any extra fee for card payments. When you complete your purchase, the amount is deducted directly from your card.

Refund to card: If you have made a return and are awaiting a refund, it usually takes 2–5 banking days before the amount appears in your account after we have received and processed your case. This time depends on the banks' processing times for the transaction.

Invoice: When you choose to pay by invoice, it will be sent to the email address you provided at the time of order, usually the day after your purchase has been completed. The invoice covers the entire purchase amount including any shipping and administration fees.

When paying by invoice, a customary credit check is performed. This may mean that a credit report is obtained, and in such cases, a copy of the report will be sent to you by post. For your security, orders paid by invoice are only delivered to your registered address.

Instalment and Account
In cooperation with Avarda, we offer a flexible account solution that allows you to split your payment at a pace that suits you, for up to 36 months. All your purchases during the month are conveniently collected on a single account statement sent to your email each month.

Flexible repayment
As an account holder, you have great freedom and can at any time choose to pay the entire remaining amount without extra costs. When using the credit, you are obliged to pay at least the minimum amount stated on your monthly statement. The minimum amount is based on your chosen repayment period, but is always at least 70 SEK per month.

Interest and fees

  • Interest: A variable annual interest rate of 19.90% currently applies.

  • Invoice fee: An administrative invoice fee of 39 SEK is added to each monthly statement.

Credit check and delivery
When you apply for an account or instalment, a customary credit check is performed, which may mean that a credit report is obtained. A copy of the report will then be sent to you by post. For your safety, orders made by account or instalment are only delivered to your registered address.

5.1 PAYMENT IN OTHER COUNTRIES

Payment is made via the payment options offered at checkout. We use Shopify Checkout, which means that payment is handled securely via Shopify and/or connected payment providers.

When you make a purchase, payment is charged when the order is placed, even if the item is shipped at a later date. This also applies to backorder items, pre-orders, and items with longer delivery times, unless otherwise stated.

For items not in stock, backorder items, or products with longer delivery times, the estimated delivery time is shown on the product page, at checkout, or in the order confirmation. If we cannot deliver within the specified time, we will contact you with updated information. You can then choose to wait for the item or cancel the purchase and receive a refund.

Your order is processed only when payment has been approved. If payment is not approved, the order may be denied or canceled.

In case of return, canceled purchase, or canceled order, the refund will be made to the same payment method used at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed. Refunds are made according to our terms for returns, right of withdrawal, and complaints.

6. PRICE GUARANTEE – WE MATCH THE PRICE!

We always strive to offer you the right product at the right price. Sometimes, however, the market offers a lower regular price on the same product, but don't worry, our price match gives you the lowest price on our products. Our price match applies to all Swedish competitors and at the time of purchase. All you need to do is document and show that the product can be purchased at the stated price.

This is how it works:

  1. Check the conditions: The price guarantee applies to identical goods sold by an authorized retailer in Sweden.

  2. Contact us: Show us proof of the lower price (e.g. an ad or a link).

  3. Price adjustment: We adjust the price immediately, so you can feel confident shopping with us.

Conditions for the price guarantee:

  • The goods must be in stock with both us and the competitor.

  • Does not apply to sales, campaigns, or clearance sales.

  • If a shipping cost is added by the retailer, it is included in the calculation when comparing the price.
  • To use the price match, you must inform the seller of the lower price at the time of purchase.

7. SHIPPING

We send all our orders with PostNord and a shipping cost of 69 SEK/69 DKK/€ 8 applies to each order, except for products that, due to their weight or volume, are subject to bulky shipping. 
The shipping cost for bulky products is specified at checkout before payment

FREE SHIPPING WITHIN SWEDEN – If you shop for more than 1499 SEK (excluding shipping fee), we will send the goods to you free of charge.
NOTE! Does not apply to bulky/heavy goods such as the Christmas calendar, kickpads, heavy cans, etc. 

  • < 5 kg:      69 SEK
  • 5-10 kg:   120 SEK
  • 10-15 kg: 199 SEK
  • 15+ kg:     500 SEK

8. DELIVERIES

We pack and ship all goods with PostNord and it normally takes 2-7 working days, provided that all products are in stock for immediate delivery.
The packages are collected at the nearest PostNord service point and the customer is notified via notifications in the PostNord app and SMS notification.
The packages remain at the agent for 7 days, after which they are returned to us (See “Uncollected packages”).

Track your delivery:

When your order is packed and shipping is booked, we will send an email with your shipment ID and a tracking link. As a customer, you are responsible for tracking your delivery and collecting the package on time.

We highly recommend using the Postnord App or Postnord's website to keep full track of where your package is. This is especially important as notifications via SMS or email can sometimes end up in spam or fail to arrive due to technical reasons.

Not in stock at the time of order:

Some items are special order items and are then marked as NOT IN STOCK or AVAILABLE AS SPECIAL ORDER when selecting size.
If any of the items you have ordered are out of stock, we will contact you for a new delivery date.
If you do not accept the new delivery date, you have the right to cancel the order.

9. UNCOLLECTED PACKAGES

We want your order to reach you and your horse all the way!
If a package is not collected, it is automatically returned to us. For packages not collected, we reserve the right to charge a fee to cover our costs for shipping, handling, and administration.

Fees for uncollected packages:

  • Sweden: 300 SEK

  • Denmark: 300 DKK

  • EU: 40 EUR

Track your delivery:
When your order is packed and shipping is booked, we will send an email with your shipment ID and a tracking link. As a customer, you are responsible for tracking your delivery and collecting the package on time.

10. RETURNS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

At Svensk Ridsport AB, we naturally want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something did not fit, you have full right of withdrawal for 14 days from the day you, or a representative, received your order. For the return to be approved, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging with all tags attached.

This is how you make a return:

For smooth handling, we recommend that you use our digital return process:

  1. Log in: Click on the link to "My pages" found in your order confirmation email.

  2. Register: Select the item(s) you wish to return.

  3. Return shipping: As soon as your return is registered, a return shipping label will be sent to your email address.

    • Don't have a printer? Contact us by phone or email and we will arrange a QR code that you can show at your service point.

Return cost

When using our return shipping label, a return shipping fee of 69 SEK will be charged. This cost is automatically deducted from your order value when we refund you for the approved return.

If the item is defective or if we have packed the wrong item, we will of course cover the entire return cost – please contact us before sending the item back.

Important information

  • Time limit: You have 14 days to send back the items from the time you notify us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

  • Own shipping method: If you choose not to use our return process, please notify us at webb@svenskridsport.com before the withdrawal period expires.
    Include name, address, and order number. Returns sent on your own must be sent as a letter or package (not cash on delivery).

  • Responsibility: Remember that you as a customer are responsible for the item until it reaches our warehouse, so pack it carefully!

Condition of the item upon return
For your return to be approved and refunded, the product must be in its original and saleable condition. This means:

  • Condition: The item must be unused (apart from the testing required to assess function and fit), unwashed, and free from dirt, stains, animal hair, or strong odors such as stable smell, perfume, and smoke.

  • Packaging & tags: All original tags must be attached. Any original packaging (such as shoe boxes, garment bags, or hangers) must be included and in good condition. Be careful not to stick or tape directly on the original packaging when packing your return.

Exceptions for hygiene and health reasons
Certain products, such as feed supplements, underwear, and Christmas calendars, cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons if the seal or packaging has been broken. 

Assessment in case of reduced value
If an item is returned in a condition that means it can no longer be sold as new, we reserve the right to make a reasonable deduction for depreciation from the refund, or alternatively refuse the return. We decide how the case is handled on a case-by-case basis. If we refuse a return and need to send the item back to you, a return and handling fee of 99 SEK will be added. We will of course always contact you before such a decision is made.

Refund

We will refund the value of your item (with a deduction of 69 SEK for return shipping) as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days from the time we have received and approved your return.

For all packages not collected, we reserve the right to charge you for shipping fees, handling fees, and administration fees, currently 300:-

11. EXCHANGES

Do you want to exchange size or color of an item? We are happy to help you find the right one! When exchanging size or color of the same product, we offer free shipping for the new shipment (value 69 SEK).

How an exchange works:

  1. Register digitally: Start by registering your exchange as a return on "My pages" via the link in your order email.

  2. Include a note: To ensure the fastest possible handling, include a clear note in the package stating which size or color you wish to exchange for.

  3. New order is created: When we have received your return, we will credit your original order and create a new order with the desired product. This will be sent to your email.

  4. Approve within 24 hours: For the exchange to be registered and shipped, you need to approve the new order by clicking the "Complete your purchase" button in the email you receive from us. This must be done within 24 hours.

Please note that we manually adjust and deduct the shipping cost when your new order is processed.

Exchange for another item If you wish to exchange for a completely different product, we ask you to make a regular return and instead place a new order on our website. This counts as a new order and is therefore not covered by the free exchange shipping.

12. DAMAGED GOODS & COMPLAINTS

We are very sorry that the item did not meet expectations!
If an item is damaged or defective when you receive it, please report it to us as soon as the fault is discovered. A complaint must be made within a reasonable time, and we will of course help you resolve it in the best way possible.

Manufacturing defect vs. Wear and tear

Please note that the right to complain applies to original manufacturing defects – that is, faults that existed in the product at delivery or are due to manufacturing defects. The right to complain does not cover normal wear and tear, incorrect handling, or damage caused by external factors after you have received the item.

Important to note: For us to handle and assess your complaint, the item must be properly cleaned and completely dry. For hygiene reasons, we unfortunately cannot handle dirty or wet equipment.

Compensation for approved complaints:

  • New item: If you want a new item of the same kind, we will of course send it to you free of charge.

  • Refund: If you choose not to receive a new item, we will refund the full cost of the item and the original shipping fee.

13. DISPUTE

We always try to resolve any issues together with you as a customer in the first instance.
If this is not possible and a dispute arises, we refer to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).


14. PERSONAL DATA – GDPR

When you place your order with us, you provide your personal data. In connection with your registration and order, you agree that we store and use your data in our business to fulfill the agreement with you. The basis for storing your data is through consent. We never sell personal data to third parties. However, we may share your information with companies that are experts in their field and help us operate the website and our business as well as serve you. The following information such as name and contact details (address, personal ID number, phone number, email) is stored so that you as a customer can: 

  • Receive offers and take part in campaigns via email newsletters. 
  • Receive invitations to our customer events.
  • Be able to retrieve receipt copies for e.g. complaints & insurance matters.
  • Get access to your own purchase history within the company. 

Of course, you as a customer can always opt out of our register and you will then no longer receive mailings from us. You also have the right under the new data protection law (General Data Protection Regulation) to have the information we have registered about you deleted, collected, and corrected. Our company is obliged to correct information that is incorrect, incomplete, or misleading, so please inform us of any changes.

HOW WE HANDLE & RESPECT YOUR RIGHTS:

We always strive to clearly show how we use and process all your data as a customer with us. 

Right to be informed.
You always have the right to request a copy of the information we have about you. Please note, however, that there are certain exceptions to this right in accordance with other laws.

Right to be "deleted".
In certain circumstances, you can of course request that the information we hold about you be deleted from our records. (In accordance with legal rights, some information cannot be deleted, and you will of course be informed in such cases.)

Right to withdraw consent.
If you have given Svensk Ridsport AB your consent to process your personal data, you can withdraw this at any time. For example, you can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the end of each email.
