Stierna Nova Rain Coat is a technical, waterproof and windproof riding coat developed to provide comprehensive protection during truly wet and windy days. The 2-layer EquTex™ material combines 20,000 mm waterproofness with 20,000 g/m²/24 h breathability, while taped seams and thoughtful riding features make the coat well suited for life in the saddle.

Nova is designed for weather where a regular water-repellent outer garment is not enough. The EquTex™ material has a waterproofness of 20,000 mm, and all seams are taped to provide effective protection against rain and wind.
Protective storm flaps over the zippers further enhance the coat's weather protection.
High breathability
Despite the strong weather protection, the material has a breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24 h. This helps excess heat and moisture to be transported out, providing better comfort during active days in the stable and while riding.
Developed for riding
Nova is not just a long rain coat – several details are specially adapted for the rider. Pre-shaped sleeves provide freedom of movement and the front panel that protects the saddle from rain can be removed as needed.
At the back, there are two YKK zippers that can be opened to create more space when sitting in the saddle. The panels are equipped with 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective tape and the elastic leg straps help keep the coat in place while riding.
360° enhanced visibility
Reflective details are placed around the garment to improve visibility in darkness and low light. The coat features 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective tape, reflective logo print, and reflective details at the front and on the sleeves.
Adjustable hood & high collar
The high collar has a soft chin guard for increased comfort. The hood is detachable and can be adjusted both at the front and at the neck. It is fastened with snap buttons.
The sleeve cuffs are asymmetrically designed and can be adjusted with Velcro to adapt the fit and protection around the wrists.
Plenty of storage
The coat has a total of four spacious outer pockets: two large chest pockets and two large bellows pockets for the hands. All are equipped with YKK zippers.

EquTex™ consists of a 2-layer recycled polyester fabric with a waterproof and windproof breathable membrane. The outer fabric is treated with BIONIC-FINISH®ECO, a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment that provides a water-repellent surface.
