Mediation of used saddles – a smart solution!
Do you have a used saddle that you no longer use? Let us help you sell it! At Swedish Equestrian, we gladly accept used saddles for sale and mediation. We offer a safe and smooth process for those who want to sell their saddle, while ensuring it ends up with someone who truly needs it.
We collaborate with Gunilla Stener, an experienced and professional saddle fitter who can help ensure the saddle fits both horse and rider. Through our collaboration, we have the opportunity to offer professional advice and expertise to get your saddle in top condition for sale.
This is how it works:

Submission of saddle: When you submit your used saddle for sale, we take a deposit of 500 SEK. This deposit is returned to you upon the sale of the saddle if it is sold through us. If not, and you choose to retrieve the saddle again, we retain the deposit as compensation for the time your saddle was with us.

Sales commission: Upon the sale of a used saddle, we take a commission of 20%. This means you receive a fair share of the sale price, while we handle the entire process of showcasing the saddle, marketing it, and helping buyers find the right one.

Preparation for sale: The saddle undergoes a thorough inspection before being put up for sale, to ensure it is in good condition and can be sold on.
We also offer saddle adjustments!
We understand that every horse and rider is unique, and sometimes small adjustments are needed for the saddle to fit perfectly. To assist, we offer the service of adjusting the tree width of the saddle – a process done in our store and costing 1500 SEK. This can be a good solution if your current saddle doesn't quite fit your horse or needs to be adjusted for another horse. We can adjust saddles like Prestige or saddles with a plastic tree.
