Jump Girths
During jumping, both the horse and the equipment are exposed to extra strain. Therefore, many riders choose to use a jump girth with a belly guard to protect the horse's abdomen and provide increased stability for the saddle. A jump girth is a saddle girth specifically designed for jumping. It is usually shorter, sturdier, and equipped with a belly guard (also called a stud guard). The plate protects the horse's abdomen from being hit by the hooves or studs during the jump, especially during technical exercises or over higher obstacles.
