The sweet itch neck cover is an elastic neck protector developed to provide the horse with effective protection against insect bites. It offers particular protection against biting midges, which often cause summer eczema and severe itching in sensitive horses.

The elastic material allows the hood to fit smoothly around the neck and provides a comfortable fit without restricting freedom of movement. The fabric is made of durable mesh that is also breathable and comfortable on warm days.

The hood is equipped with an adjustable and elastic neck strap as well as an elastic girth that helps keep the protector securely in place. At the withers, there is soft synthetic fur that reduces the risk of chafing and increases comfort during longer use.
