Equitus Theta from Schockemöhle Sports is an innovative bitless bridle that builds on the well-known Equitus concept. Here, anatomical design, pressure relief, and flexibility are combined in one model – developed for both bitless riding and work with a bit.

The characteristic Equitus noseband in this model is slightly wider and lightly reinforced to provide a stable fit and soft, even pressure distribution over the nasal bridge. For bitless riding, the reins are attached directly to the optimally placed D-rings, reinforced with nylon for extra durability and safety.

Equitus Theta is more than a bitless bridle – it is a 3-in-1 bridle. Thanks to the smart button stud system, the bridle can also be used with a regular bit when separate cheek pieces are attached. In addition, it is possible to ride with two pairs of reins, making the model suitable as a semi-double bridle for sensitive horses or for introducing the bit. It can also be used as an alternative in jumping, including competitions from 130 cm and up. Please note that the model is not intended for lunging.

Just like other Equitus models, Theta is anatomically shaped to consider the horse's sensitive facial nerves. The curved noseband is designed to avoid pressure on the major facial nerve, while the softly padded headpiece provides maximum freedom around the ears. The browband is extra curved and has a wider fit to minimize pressure around the eyes and ears.
