The immensely popular Nova bit now with a safety wire and fixed rings.

The thermoplastic polyurethane material of medical grade that the bit is made from makes it completely neutral so that it does not cause the horse any discomfort or allergies. The surface of the bit is smoother than the previous model to minimize the risk of friction and irritation in the horse's mouth.

The embedded stainless steel wire can withstand a pulling force of 200kg, thus increasing the safety of the bit. The rings are made of polished stainless steel to avoid the risk of allergy in nickel-allergic horses.

Despite their softness, Nova bits are durable, but for that reason are not indestructible. Keep an eye on the bit if you have a horse that chews a lot so that no edges form that could cause irritation.

NOTE: These bits are measured from the center of the hole where the bit attaches to the rings, unlike most other bits which are measured from the beginning of the hole. This means that, for example, 12.5 in Nova is shorter than 12.5 in most other bits, so you may want to go up a size from your usual bit size.
