EquTex™ – advanced protection against rain & wind

Storm Rain Hat is made from Stierna's technical EquTex™ material, a 2-layer fabric in recycled polyester with a waterproof and windproof membrane that also allows moisture and excess heat to be transported away.

With a water column of 20,000 mm the material provides very good protection against rain and wetness, while the breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24 h contributes to high comfort during active days.

Taped seams for extra weather protection

The rain hat has taped seams that help prevent water from penetrating through the seams.

Together with the waterproof outer fabric the construction provides effective protection during rainy and windy days.

Recycled material & fluorocarbon-free impregnation

The outer fabric is made from recycled polyester and treated with BIONIC-FINISH® ECO, a fluorocarbon-free water-repellent DWR treatment.

The impregnation helps water to bead on the fabric's surface and helps to preserve the material's weather-protective properties.

Storm is a practical accessory when you need protection against rain and wind during for example stable work, walks or days at the competition venue.
