Mildly antiseptic tar ointment for skin, wounds, and bites

This tar ointment is a mildly antiseptic skin ointment specially developed for use on itchy and weeping rashes. The ointment helps protect exposed skin areas and can also mask the horse's natural scent, which is an advantage during grazing season when insects are otherwise easily attracted to wounds and skin irritations.

The Tar Ointment contains Swedish kiln-burned wood tar in combination with emollient oils and petroleum jelly. This composition gives the ointment water-repellent, softening, and protective properties, making it well suited for use on or around itchy rashes, weeping skin changes, and insect bites.

Usage:
Clean the affected area thoroughly, for example with saline solution. Apply the ointment to the affected area 1–2 times daily or as needed.
