What makes it special
Rehalyt Basic is developed for horses that lose electrolytes through sweating. Horse sweat contains high levels of salts, and during training, hot days, long transports, or other demanding situations, the need for electrolytes can increase.
The product contains electrolytes in proportions adapted for horses, as well as glycine, which contributes to improved salt absorption. Chelated calcium and magnesium provide rapid biological availability.
Dosage
After light sweating: 20–30 g.
After heavy sweating: 50–60 g.
Mix well into the concentrate feed.
60 g replaces the salts in about 5 liters of sweat.
1 measuring scoop = 20 g.
Horses receiving salt should always have free access to water.
Sizes
1.5 kg = 75 daily servings at 20 g/day
3 kg = 150 daily servings at 20 g/day
9 kg = 450 daily servings at 20 g/day
Composition
Sodium chloride, potassium chloride, dextrose, chelated magnesium, chelated calcium.
Analytical constituents
Crude protein 13.6%, crude ash 81.6%, crude fat and crude oil 0.1%, crude fiber 0.5%, sodium 26.2%, potassium 6.1%, calcium 0.45%, magnesium 0.45%, chlorides 45.9%, glucose 8.4%.
