Safety

Freejump has been developing technical safety stirrups since 2005, and the Soft Up Pro 2 builds on the company’s well-known single-branch construction.

The flexible and open outer arm in Elastollan® is designed to open under pressure, making it easier for the foot to release in the event of a fall. The main arm is also shaped to help the foot leave the stirrup without causing a hooking effect.

The lower part of the outer arm is reinforced to withstand the forces that may arise from the foot during a sharp turn or sudden misstep.

Shock Absorption & Performance

The Soft Up Pro 2 features a single arm in spring steel that can absorb up to 30% of the forces exerted on the stirrups. The construction is combined with a damping elastomer for additional shock absorption.

The system is designed to reduce strain on the rider’s joints and the horse’s back, while providing a supple and comfortable feel in the saddle.

Balance & Position

The angled stirrup leather attachment is set at a 45° angle and combined with an offset center of gravity. This helps create a balanced position and naturally encourages the rider to keep their heel down.

The result is increased stability and a secure feeling in the stirrup, both on the flat and over jumps.

Super Grip

The footplate is equipped with metal studs that provide effective Super Grip and help keep the foot securely in place.

The metal studs can be replaced when worn, allowing you to renew the grip instead of replacing the entire stirrup.

Responsible Innovation

The new generation Soft Up Pro 2 has been developed with greater focus on the product’s entire lifecycle. The construction combines durability, repairability, and recyclability for long-lasting and reliable performance.

The stirrups are 100% recyclable, and the ability to replace wear parts, such as the metal studs, contributes to a longer lifespan.

Soft Up Pro 2 can also be customized to match the rider’s personal style – a combination of technical performance and individual expression.
